Executive – Operations (Coal, Fertilizers & Minerals)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Karachi, Pakistan for EXECUTIVE – OPERATIONS (COAL, FERTILIZERS & MINERALS).

As an Executive – Operations (Coal, Fertilizer & Minerals), you will be responsible for tasks and responsibilities as given below. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of Coal, Fertilizer & Minerals. The position expects good communication, analyzing and observing skills in addition to being a keen reader and detail oriented.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day back office operations and administrative support for the department.
• Manage client communication via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure timely preparation, review, and issuance of reports to clients as per agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff, inspectors and operations team to collect test results and operational data.
• Maintain proper records, files and databases related to clients, reports and operations.
• Track report status and follow up internally to avoid delays.
• Prepare draft reports, certificates and official correspondence as required.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports before submission to management or clients.
• Make invoices, documentation and have basic coordination with accounts, if required.
• Maintain confidentiality of client data and reports.
• Assist management in routine operational and coordination tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, or a related field. Geologist (preferred).
• Relevant experience in back office, client coordination or operations support.
• Experience in inspection, testing, or laboratory-related organizations will be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
