Executive Supply Chain

The Executive Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. This includes procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. The role involves developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives that drive efficiency, cost savings, and support the company’s business goals. The Executive Supply Chain will lead a team of supply chain professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

- Procurement and Supplier Management:

- Oversee the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

- Logistics and Distribution:

- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service level requirements.

- Production Planning and Management:

- Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.

- Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards across all supply chain activities.

- Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the supply chain function.

- Budgeting and Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

- Track and report on key supply chain metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and service levels.

- Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.

- Participate in the development of new products and services, ensuring supply chain capabilities are considered.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.

- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, production planning, and inventory management.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
