IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Monitoring of Txn NMS (Fiberhome / ZTE L/H SDH / OTN 100G / NOKIA 100G & Supercore).

Incident/Fault reporting to field teams and handling on SM Portal. Planned activities / Feasibilities / Vendor Problem management and SD IDs timely processing on SM Portal with proper record keeping.

Carrier Fault reporting and coordination. Sparing/optimization of nodes to save power and fuel.

Coordination/liaison with all vendors & ensure timely and promptly rectification of all system issues.

Enhancing the protection to critical services and & optimize available redundant fiber paths to avert service outages in dual cuts scenario.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• BSC (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication) Engineering or BSC/MSC Telecommunication or equivalent.
• Primary knowledge of Optical Fiber System & NMS & secondary Knowledge of allied power plant equipment.

Technical Competency:

• Monitoring / fault diagnosis on NMS (Fiberhome / PTN & OTN Huawei / NOKIA)
• Coordination during system breakdown / Cable cut for early restoration.
• Coordination with stake holder including Vendor, NOC & cross functional team.
