Executive Vice President

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact EVP - MEP Operations to lead and scale a major MEP business across Dubai, the Northern Emirates, and emerging geographies.

This is a board-level leadership role responsible for driving profitability, operational excellence, and strategic expansion. You will position the MEP division at the forefront of the industry while overseeing large-scale, high-value projects across the UAE/GCC region.

The Role Strategic Leadership

• Lead and execute the approved strategic business plan for the regional MEP business
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
• Identify new business opportunities and support early-stage client engagement
• Oversee operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization
• Guide senior leaders on risk management and governance frameworks
• Stay ahead of market trends, new technologies, materials, and delivery models

Operational Oversight

• Hold full P&L responsibility for the MEP business
• Review project progress, financial performance, and corrective action plans
• Ensure profitable delivery of multiple mega projects simultaneously
• Maintain strict oversight on contractual compliance and cash flow
• Represent the business in senior-level client, government, and regulatory engagements
• Drive high standards of quality, service, and HSE across all projects
• Provide leadership and coordination across regional operating units

Business Growth & Market Positioning

• Develop and secure new project leads across the region
• Support transition toward more robust Main Contract delivery models
• Strengthen high-value civil subcontracting capabilities
• Enhance integration between civil and MEP processes to offer comprehensive solutions

People & Culture Leadership

• Nurture high-performing talent through training, recognition, and mobility
• Empower teams to collaborate, innovate, and think beyond traditional boundaries
• Foster alignment, accountability, and a results-driven culture

Candidate Profile Experience

• Engineering graduate from a reputable institution
• 20+ years' experience within the MEP sector
• 10+ years in a senior leadership role in the Middle East
• Proven track record of profitably managing prestigious mega projects across the UAE/GCC
• Strong knowledge of regional laws, regulatory frameworks, and commercial environments
• Demonstrated success in driving strategic growth initiatives
