Head of Finance

Tabeer Developments is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Finance to lead the company’s financial operations, planning, and controls. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, project financial management, compliance, reporting, treasury, and investor coordination across all real estate development projects.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting sustainable growth, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Advise management on financial planning, investment decisions, and risk management.
  • Support business expansion, joint ventures, and new project feasibility evaluations.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor project-level financial performance (cost vs. budget, cash flow, profitability).
  • Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling for new developments.

3. Real Estate Project Finance Management

  • Manage project cash flows, escrow accounts, and construction funding schedules.
  • Ensure proper cost allocation across land, construction, marketing, and overhead.
  • Monitor contractor payments in alignment with project milestones.

4. Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of:
  • Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Management reports
  • Budget variance analysis
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Manage banking relationships and financing facilities.
  • Optimize working capital and liquidity.
  • Oversee receivables, collections, and payment controls.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with:
  • UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax)
  • Real estate regulatory requirements
  • Internal financial policies
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls.

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounts team.
  • Establish KPIs and performance monitoring systems.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and financial discipline.

8. Investor & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Prepare financial updates for investors and stakeholders.
  • Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in real estate development or construction sector in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of project finance, escrow management, and feasibility analysis.
