We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Professional to join a leading construction organization. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets and detailed cost plans.
- Monitor project expenditures and track costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial analyses.
- Analyze variances between planned and actual costs and recommend corrective actions.
- Support tendering and procurement processes with cost evaluations.
- Review and verify subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, financial policies, and internal procedures.
- Prepare and present monthly cost reports to senior management.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software.
