Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor with 2 to 5 years of experience in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, contract administration, and project cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements.
  • Prepare and submit interim payment applications (RA Bills).
  • Verify and certify subcontractor invoices.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs.
  • Prepare variation orders and cost claims.
  • Assist in tender preparation and documentation.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
  • Maintain proper documentation and cost records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction/fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in building construction or interior fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of UAE construction practices (if applicable).
