Job Description
Job Title: Executive/Sr. Executive - Master Data

Job Description:
The Executive/Sr. Executive in Master Data Management will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of master data across various systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity, supporting data governance initiatives, and executing data quality checks. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all master data aligns with industry standards and provides insights for decision-making processes. The candidate will also assist in process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices related to master data management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain master data records in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of master data.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to gather and verify data requirements.
  • Implement and monitor data quality metrics to identify and resolve data issues.
  • Support data governance efforts by adhering to established policies and documentation standards.
  • Assist in training team members on data management best practices and tools.
  • Work on data migrations and system upgrades by ensuring data integrity during transitions.
  • Document processes and workflows related to master data management.

Skills Required:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify data discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address and resolve data management challenges.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Desirable: Knowledge of India taxation - TDS, LDC

  • Good to have: Basic Chinese/Thai language skills

Tools Required:
  • Experience with master data management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Excel and data manipulation techniques.
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality management tools.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL could be an advantage.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have prior experience in data management or a similar role. The ability to adapt to changing technologies and willingness to learn new systems and processes is essential.
