Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

We are searching for the best talent for a Exp. Warehouse Analyst Ortho Warehouse to be in Grecia, Costa Rica.

Purpose:

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead/Senior Supervisor, the Experienced Analyst, will be responsible for inventory management including receipt, storage, coordination of cycle counting, repackaging, and issuance of materials and products, including outbound shipments from the site.

As we establish our new site, this role will be pivotal in supporting the development of site procedures for both inbound and outbound operations. It will also involve collaborating closely with the Warehouse Team Lead on team leadership, training, development, and operational excellence as we scale. Additionally, the role will oversee KPI monitoring and provide system support to the warehouse team.

Furthermore, this role will require close collaboration with the Warehouse Team Lead during the setup of our new ERP system to ensure a comprehensive understanding of warehouse workflows and operations.

This position ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient storage and movement of Raw Materials, Work in Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods, in strict adherence to Free Trade Zone (FTZ) regulatory requirements and Johnson & Johnson internal standards.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Receipt of Raw Materials /Consumables/Chemicals
  • Issue of raw material to manufacturing and other areas requesting material and ensuring the material is issued in accordance with GMP and J&J guidelines.
  • Ensuring that all material issued is 100% accurate and all relevant documentation is correct.
  • Ensure all paperwork and data entry is completed on a daily basis and maintain data integrity so that all transactions onto the company’s information system is 100% accurate.
  • Ensure high levels of Accuracy, Quality, Safety & Housekeeping exist at all times.
  • Co-ordination of Cycle Counting & Stock Control.
  • Shipment of Finished Goods, Raw Material & Miscellaneous Items.
  • To support all areas within stores/warehouse functions in a flexible and facilitative manner.
  • Safe operations of equipment.
  • Always maintain Warehouse security.
  • Safe handling of hazardous material.
  • Responsible for ensuring safe storage and handling of all raw materials, chemical storage and finished products
  • Daily/Weekly checks to be carried out as per SOPs (Pallet truck, Chemical Stores etc.)
  • All employees are responsible for minimizing both the environmental and health and safety effects of the work that they perform.
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement projects with suggestions & practical implementation.
  • KPI tracking
  • ERP system knowledge expert to support warehouse operational

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 8-10 years previous Warehouse/Material Handler experience within a fast-paced Multinational environment.
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/SAP EWM or similar (JDE, Oracle, WMS, IMs)
  • Medical/Pharma experience
  • Bachelor Degree (completed) or Higher Diploma.
  • Desirable
  • IPICS/APICS
  • PIV certified
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/SAP EWM or similar (JDE, Oracle, WMS, IM, etc.)
