About the Role:-

We are an accounting and audit consultancy firm in Dubai seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage client accounting, VAT, and corporate tax compliance.

The role primarily involves working on various client accounts for year-end finalization, audit coordination, and tax filings, with only minimal internal accounting work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax registration and filing processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Handle accounting and financial records for multiple client portfolios.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules for year-end audit and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) compliance for clients, including:
• Registration and deregistration
• Preparation and filing of VAT and CT returns
• Maintaining tax records and ensuring FTA compliance
• Finalize accounts up to trial balance and assist in management reports.
• Perform reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer, intercompany).
• Support clients during audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain proper documentation and working papers for all client engagements.
• Assist senior accountants and managers in ad-hoc client and compliance tasks.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in an accounting or audit firm).
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) regulations and filing processes.
• Experience in account finalization and coordination with auditors.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple client assignments and meet deadlines independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
