Experienced Bookkeeper

Role: QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper (On-Site) - Southlake, TX

Location: Southlake, TX (This is an in-office position; remote work is not available.)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are specifically looking for candidates located within a 10-15 mile radius of Southlake, TX, to ensure a convenient and consistent presence.

Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will manage client accounts, specializing in intricate clean-up, catch-up, and ongoing monthly support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping / Financial Operations:
• Executing precise daily bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks Online, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Maintaining accurate general ledgers and performing thorough balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparing and posting journal entries, including debits and credits.
• Conducting bank and account reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail.
• Generating comprehensive financial reports: P&L, balance sheets
• Client & Administrative Support:
• Managing daily administrative duties, including client communications (phone, email) and essential follow-ups.
• Streamlining administrative workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Acting as a primary contact for escalated client inquiries, ensuring swift and professional resolution.
• Tracking project progress from initiation to completion, ensuring all documentation is collected, organized, and securely archived.
• Monitoring project timelines to consistently meet deliverables.
• Providing project scheduling, guidance, and assistance as required.
• Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and data security for all sensitive financial information.
• Availability for occasional overtime (evenings/weekends) to meet critical client deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

• Mandatory: Expert-level proficiency and extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• A minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 recent years specifically utilizing QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with other relevant accounting software.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, categorization, and reconciliation processes.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and superior time management skills.
• Proven capacity to expertly manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry documentation standards and compliance guidelines.
• Experience with other bookkeeping or CPA firms is a definite asset.
