Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook doughnuts from scratch, ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and appearance
• Decorate doughnuts with icing, toppings, and creative designs using cake decorating skills
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, mixers, and ovens
• Package finished products carefully for retail display or takeout orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food production tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and portioning dough
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and answering product-related questions when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production, particularly with doughnuts or similar baked goods
• Strong cake decorating skills with attention to detail and creativity
• Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards
• Familiarity with food industry regulations and kitchen equipment operation
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and prep work
• Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus but not required
• Passion for culinary arts with a focus on baking, food preparation, and presentation
