Experienced Floral Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week, including Sundays). In this role, you will design beautiful floral arrangements while providing exceptional service to our customers. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about flowers who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements for their specific needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and other floral supplies
- Arrange flowers in vases or containers and ensure they are properly cared for
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Keep the store clean and organized at all times
- Assist with general store duties such as stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and handling deliveries

Experience:
- 1 year of previous experience as a Florist is required (Floral School Certificate a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized recommendations and build rapport with customers
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Retail sales experience is desirable
