Front-End Insurance & Prior Authorization Specialist – Growing Mobile Medical Practice

We are a rapidly expanding mobile medical practice looking for a dynamic, trustworthy, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our front-end team as Insurance Verification & Prior Authorization Specialist. This full-time, in-person position. Responsibilities Include:

• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits for patients
• Submitting prior authorizations
• Contacting facilities and explaining billing processes to administrators
• Consolidated billing experience preferred
• Collaborating with internal team members to secure prompt and accurate payment for services
• Maintaining records and ensuring follow-through on all open tasks

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience performing insurance verification and submitting authorizations
• Direct experience with Managed Care, Medicare Advantage plans
• roficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and digital file management
• Strong typing skills and familiarity with keyboard shortcuts
• Experience with Novitasphere and other insurance/payor portals (Availity, Onesource, TMHP, etc.)
• Must be punctual, reliable, and available to work in person, 40 hours per week
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Preferred: Knowledge of medical billing, CPT codes, and HIPAA (training available for the right candidate)
• Well-organized
• Capable of multitasking and managing time independently in a fast-paced environment

• This role offers the potential for advancement to a Lead position in the department
