The Experienced Investments Analyst at Rasmal Ventures plays a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing venture capital investments for the Rasmal Innovation Fund I in Doha, Qatar.

Job Description & Core Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing: Identifying high-growth tech startups in Fintech, AI, Climate Tech, and B2B SaaS across Qatar and the broader MENA region.

Due Diligence: Evaluating startup business models, analyzing market sizes, assessing competitive landscapes, and interviewing founding teams.

Financial Modeling: Building detailed valuation models, projecting fund returns, tracking portfolio performance metrics, and managing cap tables.

Investment Memos: Drafting comprehensive investment committee memorandums and presentation decks to recommend equity financing.

Portfolio Support: Assisting existing portfolio companies with financial planning, strategic growth, and preparation for subsequent funding rounds.Candidate

RequirementsExperience:

3 to 7 years of professional experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering.Certifications: Progress toward a CFA charter or holding an MBA is highly preferred.

Hard Skills: Elite proficiency in advanced Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (pitch decks).

Regulations: Familiarity with Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) fund structures is a major advantage.
