Experienced Lead HVAC Installer

Florida Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. has proudly served Pensacola and the surrounding communities since 1984. We're looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and wants to build a long term career with a company that values doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations from start to finish.
• Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes.
• Train and mentor apprentice installers.
• Inspect and verify each installation is complete before leaving the jobsite.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, coworkers, and other trades throughout each project.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and truck inventory.
• Deliver workmanship that reflects the standards and reputation of Florida Air.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HVAC installations from start to finish.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read installation instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and Florida heat.
• Ability to work independently while leading a helper.

• $20.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience and performance.
