Oracle APEX Developer required by OGES iNFOTECH a multinational software solution provider, headquartered in Kochi, Kerala, The Group has a presence in over 4 countries, India, UAE, Europe & Canada.
OGES iNFOTECH is an IT Catalyst focussed on Oracle-based Business Applications, Cloud Solutions, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, ECommerce, Website and Portal Development, Streaming and Webcasting, Custom Software Development, IT consulting, and Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle APEX applications (forms, reports, interactive grids).
- Create, modify, and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Design and generate reports using Jasper Reports and integrate them with Oracle APEX applications.
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems using RESTful web services.
- Apply best practices in relational database design and optimization techniques.
- Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Use version control systems (Git/Subversion) to manage source code and versioning.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay current with Oracle APEX features and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle APEX application development.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers).
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle APEX (versions 5.x/18.x/19.x or later).
- Strong skills in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with Jasper Reports and report integration with Oracle APEX.
- Experience with RESTful web services and integrating APEX with other systems.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion.
- Strong understanding of relational database design and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Having experience in Oracle Forms will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments and integration methods.
- Familiarity with advanced Oracle APEX features and tools.
- Candidates preferred with a B-Tech background, Any IT Graduate
- Good English language and communication skills is a must
