We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Tax Preparer to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and corporations using advanced tax software and accounting tools such as QuickBooks
• Review financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and bookkeeping records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze client financial data to identify potential deductions, credits, and planning opportunities that maximize benefits
• Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations to provide compliant advice and prepare timely filings
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies, financial analysis, and resolving IRS or state tax issues
• Maintain organized records of all client documents, correspondence, and filing history for audit readiness
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally

Skills

• Experience with tax preparation for individuals and small businesses, including familiarity with public accounting practices
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Drake Tax, and Financial Cents
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, corporate accounting, bookkeeping, and technical accounting principles
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately
• Competence in using 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and document processing
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly while providing outstanding customer service
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review and correct own work for precision before submitting for review
• Solid math skills combined with analysis expertise to ensure precise calculations and reporting
