Job Description – WordPress PHP Developer

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, ensuring performance, security, and scalability while collaborating closely with designers and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress / PHP websites, themes, and plugins
• Convert UI/UX designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO readiness
• Ensure website security, updates, and regular backups
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and plugins
• Maintain coding standards, version control, and documentation
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of 4+ years as a WordPress Developer
• Strong expertise in WordPress core, custom themes, plugin development and PHP
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.)
• Understanding of website optimization, security, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
