Expert Shopify Developer

We are looking for an Expert Shopify Developer to build, customize, and optimize high-performing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Shopify theme development, custom functionality, app integrations, performance optimization, and conversion-focused UX. This is not a basic setup role—you’ll be responsible for advanced custom development and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
• Build custom themes and components using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Customize and extend existing themes without relying solely on page builders
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions
• Develop custom Shopify apps or private apps when required
• Optimize store performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals
• Implement CRO best practices to improve conversion rates
• Ensure mobile-first, responsive, and cross-browser compatibility
• Set up and manage Shopify metafields, webhooks, and custom data structures
• Troubleshoot bugs, conflicts, and performance issues efficiently
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and media buyers for seamless execution
• Ensure SEO best practices are implemented at theme and code level

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development
• Strong command of Shopify Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with Shopify Plus features (Scripts, Flow, Checkout Extensibility is a plus)
• Proven experience building custom Shopify themes from scratch
• Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app architecture
• Experience with performance optimization and speed improvements
• Knowledge of CRO, UX/UI best practices, and eCommerce funnels
• Familiarity with Git/version control and staging workflows
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with headless Shopify (Hydrogen, Storefront API)
• Experience with React or modern JS frameworks
• Knowledge of GA4, Meta Pixel, and advanced event tracking
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics platforms
