Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Executive to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end export operations in the FMCG sector, ensuring smooth international shipments, documentation compliance, and effective coordination with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and Bill of Lading.
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs for timely shipment.
- Ensure compliance with export laws, international trade regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance, etc.) for smooth execution of export orders.
- Manage export LC (Letter of Credit) documentation and negotiation.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery to international clients.
- Assist in market research for new export opportunities and international business development.
- Maintain records of all export transactions and prepare periodic reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in export operations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, logistics, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with export markets in the Middle East, Africa, or Southeast Asia.
- Experience with DGFT, EPC, and EXIM policies.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.
