We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team at Kings Seafoods. As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all documentation related to the export of seafood products. Your primary duties will include the application of health and catch certificates, compilation of customs documentation, and ensuring all necessary export documentation is complete and accurate. Additionally, you will liaise with buyers to obtain approval for all documents, create purchase orders, and prepare proforma invoices.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply health and catch certificates required for the export of seafood products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Compile and manage all documentation necessary for customs clearance, including but not limited to customs declarations, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Liaise with buyers to obtain approval of all export documentation, resolving any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and proforma invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized records of all documentation and ensure they are easily accessible for audits and reference.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards related to seafood export documentation.
  • Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to coordinate the timely submission of documents and facilitate smooth export operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Documentation Specialist or similar role in the seafood industry or international trade.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and catch certificates, customs documentation requirements, and export regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with document management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
