Job Title: Export Lead
Department: International Business / Exports
Location: Thane

Role Overview:

The Export Lead will be responsible for managing NZ Seasonal Wear’s international business operations, including order execution, buyer coordination, export documentation, logistics, and export sales growth. The role requires a blend of operational excellence and market-oriented thinking to ensure timely shipments, regulatory compliance, and strategic expansion into new global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Order Management

  • Coordinate with buyers and internal merchandising team for order execution
  • Oversee export order planning, production tracking, and timely delivery
  • Ensure adherence to buyer specifications and quality standards

2. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and verify all export-related documents (invoice, packing list, BL, COO, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and buyer protocols
  • Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agents), freight forwarders, and port authorities

3. Shipping & Logistics

  • Manage international logistics for on-time shipment
  • Track shipment progress and resolve any delays
  • Optimize shipping cost and methods

4. Buyer Communication

  • Maintain professional relationships with international buyers
  • Provide regular updates on order status, shipping schedules, and documentation
  • Address buyer concerns and coordinate resolution

5. Team Coordination

  • Lead the export team (documentation, logistics executives)
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and merchandising departments

6. Cost Control & Negotiation

  • Negotiate freight rates and logistics terms
  • Monitor export profitability and take corrective actions when required

7. MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain export MIS for shipments, documentation, payments, and performance metrics
  • Submit monthly export performance reports to management

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws and INCOTERMS
  • Experience in garment export documentation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with ERP/export management systems
  • Leadership and team management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in International Business, Export Management, or related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in garment exports, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
