Assistant Purchase Manager

India

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source products globally at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and ensure quality standards.
  • Handle import/export documentation and compliance.
  • Develop vendor relationships for long-term business growth.
  • Monitor market trends to discover new product opportunities
  • Travel across Tamil Nadu and other states to purchase products.
  • Interested in traveling.

Working mode: Hybrid / Report to the office twice a month.

Requirements:

  • Education: Any graduate / preferably with a BA in Logistics
  • Minimum 0–1 years of experience in Import/Export or Purchase Management.
  • Strong vendor network & negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping, customs, and trade regulations.
  • Excellent communication in English (Hindi/Tamil preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
