Your opportunity

We’re currently looking for a Export Logistics Supervisor for our Huhtamaki Flexible Packaging Türkiye. In this position, Supports end-to-end international logistics operations with strong executional focus. Ensures vehicle availability according to transportation contracts, coordinates inland deliveries abroad (DAP/DDP), and manages timely arrival of export shipments. Acts as back-up to the External Operations & Logistics Procurement Manager, and is expected to learn international procedures, customs, and documentation workflows.

You will report to Export-Import Operations Senior Manager and be part of the Export team.

You will be located at our Esenyurt site in İstanbul / Türkiye and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supports end-to-end international logistics operations with strong executional focus.
• Ensures vehicle availability according to transportation contracts, coordinates inland deliveries abroad (DAP/DDP), and manages timely arrival of export shipments. Establishes and builds strong client relationships.
• Acts as back-up to the External Operations & Logistics Procurement Manager, and is expected to learn international procedures, customs, and documentation workflows.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Manages daily international logistics execution in line with company transportation agreements.
• Ensures vehicles are arranged with 3PL partners in alignment with planned shipments and delivery terms (mainly DAP and DDP).
• Tracks and verifies on-time delivery of all export shipments; escalates delays and disruptions proactively.
• Coordinates inland transportation within destination countries through collaboration with international partners.
• Works closely with the Customer Service team to ensure aligned vehicle planning and timely dispatches.
• Provides escalation support during transportation issues, accidents, or missed arrivals.
• Acts as back-up to the External Operations & Logistics Procurement Manager, supporting processes related to customs clearance, import/export procedures, and documentation.
• Expected to continuously develop knowledge in international logistics regulations and operational best practices.
• Contributes to cost-effective and secure logistics operations in an acceleration-focused environment.
