The Export Manager at Vaidhya Group would be a pivotal role, responsible for strategizing, supervising, and executing the international sale and shipment of goods, likely focusing on agricultural commodities given the company's sector involvement.

Key Responsibilities (Likely)

The responsibilities would blend international sales, logistics, and regulatory compliance:

1. Strategy & Sales Development

  • Develop and implement export strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's global footprint, particularly for agri-commodities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new international business opportunities, market trends, and competition.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing international clients, buyers, distributors, and agents.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with overseas clients and suppliers to secure profitable deals.

2. Export Operations & Logistics

  • Coordinate with logistics partners (freight forwarders, shipping companies) to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Oversee all export documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs clearance paperwork, ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage the entire supply chain for exported goods, ensuring product quality and adherence to international and customer specifications.
  • Monitor export performance and prepare regular reports on sales, budget, and operational metrics.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure strict compliance with all international trade regulations, customs procedures, trade agreements, and specific import/export laws of target countries.
  • Liaise with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and certifications (which are critical for agricultural products).
  • Manage risks associated with international transactions, such as currency exchange fluctuations and geopolitical instability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field (a degree in Agriculture or a Master's is often preferred in the agri-commodity sector).
  • Proven experience in export management, preferably within the agricultural or commodity sector.
  • Strong command of English for international communication; proficiency in a second foreign language is a plus.
