Export Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of three export professionals, providing coaching, support, and performance evaluations to promote growth and efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations specific to cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to mitigate risks and avoid regulatory penalties.
• Oversee the preparation, verification, and submission of all export documentation including customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of export goods, collaborating with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with international clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Develop and implement export compliance management programs to maintain regulatory adherence and continuous improvement of export processes.
• Manage customs clearance procedures, working closely with customs authorities to resolve issues and expedite shipments.
• Monitor changes in export laws and regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and legal departments, to align export strategies with overall business objectives.
• Prepare regular reports on export activities, team performance, and compliance status to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to optimize export operations and reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Train and educate team members and other employees on export controls, documentation requirements, and compliance policies.
