The Assistant Export Manager supports the Export Manager in executing and managing all export-related activities. The role ensures smooth documentation, compliance, communication with international clients, and coordination with internal departments to achieve timely and cost-effective shipment of export orders.

Key Responsibilities1. Export Operations & Coordination

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing export shipments.
• Coordinate with production, packing, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely order readiness.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for booking and shipment arrangements.
• Track shipments and share updates with customers and management.

2. Export Documentation

• Prepare and verify export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, BL/AWB, and shipping instructions.
• Ensure documentation complies with destination country requirements, LC terms, and customer specifications.
• Maintain complete export records for audit and compliance purposes.

3. Customer Communication

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, documentation, shipping schedules, and issues.
• Support the Export Manager in managing existing customers and developing new business opportunities.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

• Ensure adherence to customs regulations, HS codes, duty structures, and export policies.
• Coordinate with banks for LC documentation, payment follow-ups, and submission of export forms.
• Ensure compliance with export laws, trade regulations, and company policies.

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare shipment reports, pending order status, and export performance summaries.
• Monitor logistics costs and suggest improvements.
• Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and pricing recommendations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
