About the Role:
The Export Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the merchandising process for our textile products destined for various global markets. Your role will involve collaborating closely with production, sales, and marketing teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while meeting client expectations. You will also conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences to inform merchandising strategies.
Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end export merchandising process for textile products.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities in international markets.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure product availability in line with demand forecasts.
- Create and maintain product catalogs, including descriptions, pricing, and promotional materials.
- Evaluate market trends and customer preferences to inform product selection and pricing strategies.
- Communicate with clients and international distributors to address inquiries and manage orders.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on sales performance and market analysis.
Requirements:- 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, ideally within the textile industry.
- Strong understanding of export processes and international trade.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and merchandising software.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Management, Business, or a related field.
