Export Officer - Shipping Department

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and compliant execution of denim export shipments.
• Review sales contracts, PIs, and buyer manuals for shipment requirements.
• Coordinate with production, QA, and warehouse for shipment readiness.
• Arrange freight bookings (sea/air), secure container allocation, and meet cut-off deadlines.
• Oversee inspections, container stuffing, sealing, and gate-in procedures.
• Prepare and verify export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Certificate of Origin, Form-A/REX, and buyer-specific formats.
• Manage customs clearance through PSW/WeBOC and liaise with clearing agents.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan customs, SBP, and export regulations.
• Handle LC/TT/Collection documentation, ensuring error-free bank submissions.
• Follow up for timely payment realization and reconcile with Finance.
• Update ERP and shipment trackers with ETD, ETA, freight, and charges.
• Monitor vessel schedules and proactively inform buyers of delays.
• Analyze freight, demurrage, and clearance trends for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with buyers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, chamber, and customs agents.
• Maintain shipment records for audits, rebates, and compliance reporting.
• Achieve KPIs: on-time shipments, documentation accuracy, zero discrepancies, minimal demurrage, and timely payment realization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business (MBA preferred).
• 2–4 years’ export/shipping experience in textiles or apparel (denim preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020, export banking, and Pakistan customs/PSW.
• ERP proficiency, advanced MS Excel, and professional communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
