An Export Sales Executive drives international sales by finding new markets, managing overseas client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations, coordinating closely with logistics for smooth order fulfillment, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and achieving sales targets through market research and attending global trade shows.

  • Develop and execute export strategies, research global market trends, identify new opportunities, and analyze competitors.
  • Generate leads, build strong client relationships, give presentations, negotiate deals, and meet sales goals.
  • Coordinate with shipping/supply chain teams, manage export documentation (invoices, packing lists), book shipments, track orders, and ensure adherence to international regulations.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and events to promote products globally.

Essential Skills

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of international trade laws and customs procedures.
  • Ability to manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and reporting tools.
