Job Purpose:
Responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities within the electrical products and transformer sector. The role combines strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive growth through new markets, partnerships, and product positioning. The role acts as the technical-commercial link between clients and internal teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with customer needs and company capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer requirements to identify potential business opportunities.

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and government entities to position the company’s products and services.

Support in preparing strategic business plans for target sectors and key accounts.

Conduct technical and commercial presentations to promote electrical products and transformer solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and tendering teams to prepare technically and commercially compliant proposals.

Evaluate RFQs and tenders, ensuring accurate interpretation of specifications and preparation of competitive offers.

Monitor project pipelines and follow up on bids to convert opportunities into awarded contracts.

Gather and communicate market intelligence on pricing, new technologies, and competitors’ activities.

Identify partnership and joint venture opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy.

Support in developing marketing materials, case studies, and reference lists for business development purposes.

Coordinate with R&D and product management teams to align new developments with market needs.

Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.

Prepare regular business reports and sales forecasts to management.
Qualification & Education:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, mechanical or related field.

Years of Experience: 5–7 years of experience in business development or technical sales within the transformer or electrical products industry.
Technical competencies:

Excellent knowledge of

specifications and power systems.

Proficiency in proposal preparation and tendering procedures.
