Exports Customer Service (Hazardous Materials)

Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Exports Customer Service Specialist with specific expertise in Hazardous Materials to manage international shipments from booking to final delivery. You will serve as the primary link between our clients, carriers, vendors & operations staff, ensuring that all dangerous goods are transported safely, legally, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Order Management: Coordinate export logistics, including booking, arranging drayage, and tracking shipments through to delivery.
  • Hazmat Compliance: Review and prepare Multimodal Dangerous Goods Declarations and ensure all shipments comply with IMDG, IATA, and DOT regulations.
  • Export Documentation: Prepare and verify critical documents, including Bills of Lading.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive shipment updates and resolving issues related to delays or customs clearance.
  • Financial Accuracy: Ensure timely invoicing, verify freight charges, and handle billing instructions for the accounting department.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in export customer service or freight forwarding, specifically handling Dangerous Goods.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in shipping portals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
