Exports Manager (Sea / Ocean)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sea/ocean freight export operations for food products
• Handle export shipments to USA / UAE / UK (at least one mandatory market)
• Coordinate with shipping lines, CHAs, freight forwarders, and transporters
• Negotiate and manage freight rates, CHA agreements, and service contracts
• Oversee export documentation , including BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.
• Ensure compliance with food export regulations and country-specific requirements
• Handle both dry containers and reefer containers , including temperature control
• Identify potential risks in sea freight exports (delays, damages, compliance issues) and implement mitigation plans
• Monitor shipment schedules, vessel planning, and timely dispatch
• Ensure adherence to liabilities, Incoterms, and contractual obligations
• Maintain accurate shipment records and coordinate with internal stakeholders

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in sea/ocean freight exports , preferably in food / FMCG industry
• Hands-on exposure to at least one international market: USA / UAE / UK
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and food compliances
• Clear understanding of:
• Shipping lines
• CHA operations & agreements
• Ocean freight rates & cost structures
• Liabilities and responsibilities
• Experience handling dry and reefer container shipments
• Ability to analyze export risks and implement effective solutions
