External Reporting Assistant Manager

We are seeking an External Reporting Assistant Manager to support the preparation and consolidation of accurate, compliant financial statements and external reports for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring full adherence to IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal accounting policies. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the role works closely with internal finance teams and external auditors to deliver timely, high-quality financial reporting and maintain transparency for regulators, auditors, and investors.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and its subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and internal policies.
  • Support preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual external financial reports.
  • Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data and disclosures.
  • Review and validate consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and related party transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of notes to accounts and external financial disclosures.
IFRS & Audit Coordination
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of IFRS developments and assess their impact on financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and annual audits.
  • Provide audit documentation, reconciliations, and technical analyses as required.
  • Support statutory reporting and regulatory submissions.
  • Support the development and documentation of group accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing board and management reporting packs, aligning internal and external financial views.
  • Contribute to reporting system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in accounting and external financial reporting.
  • At least 3 years in group or corporate reporting environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience in real estate, investment, or diversified group structures is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
