Façade Engineer

This role is responsible for ensuring that façade systems are properly designed, coordinated, and executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with consultants, specialist subcontractors, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing façade design drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Coordinating façade shop drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensuring compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations, and safety standards.
• Liaising with consultants and specialist subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitoring site installation of façade systems, including curtain wall, cladding, glazing, and related elements.
• Supporting procurement by reviewing technical proposals and supplier documentation.
• Managing inspections, mock-ups, and testing processes as required.
• Assisting in tracking progress and ensuring façade works are completed within schedule.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Proven experience working on façade systems within a general contracting company or façade specialist in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, glazing, and waterproofing systems.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Familiarity with local regulations and authority requirements.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage technical issues proactively and work within project deadlines.
