Fabric Procurement & Sourcing Executive – Kids Apparel

We are looking for a fabric procurements execuitive for our kids' brand.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source fabrics from Lahore wholesale and retail markets (Azam Market, Shah Alam, Ichhra, local mills)
• Identify suitable fabrics for kidswear including cottons, blends, knits, seasonal materials
• Physically visit markets, vendors, and suppliers
• Collect fabric swatches and price quotes
• Negotiate rates, MOQs, and lead times
• Compare quality, GSM, feel, shrinkage risk, and consistency
• Coordinate with design and production teams
• Maintain supplier and fabric records
• Ensure repeat availability of selected fabrics

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

• Prior experience in fabric sourcing or textile procurement
• Hands on knowledge of Lahore fabric markets
• Understanding of kids apparel fabric requirements
• Experience dealing directly with vendors and wholesalers
• Ability to judge fabric quality without lab testing

FABRIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Cotton types suitable for kidswear
• Knitted fabrics like jersey and rib
• Seasonal fabrics for summer and winter
• Color fastness and softness awareness
• Basic understanding of shrinkage and durability

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong negotiation skills
• Market intelligence and vendor network
• Attention to detail
• Ability to compare samples objectively
• Clear communication with internal teams
• Basic record keeping using Excel or Google Sheets

• Comfortable with field work and frequent market visits
• Can work independently without hand holding
• Reliable and punctual
• Honest with pricing and supplier information

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
