Fabricator

· Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

· Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery

· Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Arc, and Spot welding) to assemble and join metal components.

· Prepare joints and surfaces prior to welding, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment.

· Select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for the fabrication process as per the instructions from the senior fabricator.

· Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.

· Conduct trial assembly and test fitting of fabricated products before final finishing.

· Report design discrepancies or technical issues to supervisors or engineering teams.

· Follow all safety precautions as listed in the employee handbook and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

· Follow established fabrication procedures and standards to ensure quality and consistency in the finished products.

· Support maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues as needed.

· Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure an effective fabrication process.

· Log carried out tasks in the daily work log for efficiency tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

· Experience in a similar field- 3 – 4 years
