Gilani Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, specializing in vehicle modifications to enhance accessibility for people with disabilities. The company designs, fabricates, and installs wheelchair ramps, lifts, and other custom automotive accessibility features.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate automotive parts, including structural modifications and accessibility equipment.
• Modify vehicle bodies and chassis to accommodate custom mobility designs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Inspect and test completed modifications for strength, fit, and safety.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in accordance with safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication or installation issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in automotive or related industries.
• Skilled in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Ability to accurately read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of automotive safety standards and regulations.
• Attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently or in a team in a fast-paced workshop.
• Welding/fabrication certifications or training preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobility or accessibility vehicle modifications.
• Knowledge of working with multiple materials (steel, aluminum, etc.).
• Ability to perform finishing work for strength and appearance.
• Good physical stamina for workshop duties.
