Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator / Shed Maker with strong field experience in steel structure erection and shed installation. Candidates with an engineering background (Mechanical / Civil) will be preferred. The ideal candidate must be capable of supervising site activities, interpreting drawings, and ensuring quality fabrication and installation of industrial sheds and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of steel sheds, warehouses, and structural frames.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, structural layouts, and fabrication plans.
• Supervise site erection activities including columns, trusses, purlins, and roofing sheets.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and structural stability during installation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and labor teams.
• Perform cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, and fitting as per specifications.
• Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
• Conduct on-site measurements and material estimation.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and installation issues in the field.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure timely project completion.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical Certification in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience in steel fabrication and shed erection.
• Strong knowledge of MS structures, roofing sheets, and structural components.
• Hands-on experience in welding (ARC/MIG), gas cutting, and fabrication tools.
• Ability to read structural drawings and BOQs.
• Willingness to travel for field/site work.

Preferred Skills

• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Civil) will be preferred.
• Experience in industrial sheds, warehouses, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings).
• Knowledge of structural safety standards.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management ability.
