Fabricator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our trailer suspension manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components used in trailer suspension systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of metalworking techniques to ensure high-quality production.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to design requirements.
• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery such as grinders, saws, shears, and press brakes.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and the use of fabrication tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Familiarity with trailer suspension components is a plus.
• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
• Willing to learn and grow within the company

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing facility with exposure to loud noises, welding fumes, and metalworking equipment.
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and welding helmets.
