Fabricator/Welder/Agri mechanic

J & P Dunn Ltd is a small family run business based in Laurencekirk. We have been established for over 25 years, and are currently looking for an experience welder fabricator ideally with tig experience. This position may suit an Agri or commercial engineer/mechanic looking for a change.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using hand tools, machines, or welding equipment
- Weld components together using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or ARC)
- Assemble fabricated metal parts to create structures or equipment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform basic math calculations to determine dimensions and angles

Experience:
- Previous experience as a fabricator/welder is preferred but not required may suit commercial or agricultural mechanical engineer.
- Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
