Preparation of Material Take off and Fabrication Drawings.
Collaborating with architects to translate conceptual façade designs into detailed plans that align with the building's aesthetic and functional goals.
Producing accurate technical drawings, including elevations, sections, and 3D models, using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit.
Identify and specify façade materials (glass, aluminum, stone, etc.) and associated components (cladding, windows, frames).
Specifying appropriate materials for the façade, such as glass, metal, and cladding, considering performance, cost, and appearance.
Ensuring the façade is structurally sound and integrates seamlessly with the building’s load-bearing systems, while accounting for environmental factors like wind loads and thermal insulation.
Ensuring the façade design meets local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards, including energy efficiency and environmental certifications.
Working closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders during the design and construction phases to ensure the façade is installed as planned, providing support for problem-solving and on-site inspections
