Facade Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Façade Designer with hands-on UAE experience in designing and detailing façade systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and local standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare façade design concepts, detailed drawings, and shop drawings.
• Design and develop façade systems including:
• Curtain wall systems
• Aluminum & glazing systems
• Cladding (ACP, stone, etc.)
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project teams to meet design requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Perform material take-offs and assist in cost estimation.
• Support site team with design clarifications and technical solutions.
• Modify designs based on client/consultant feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of façade design experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of façade systems and materials.
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Revit / BIM (preferred)
• Other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.) is a plus
• Good understanding of UAE building codes and authority requirements.
• Ability to prepare shop drawings and detailed fabrication drawings.

Preferred:

• Experience in high-rise or commercial façade projects in UAE
• Knowledge of thermal, structural, and waterproofing aspects of façades
