Facilities Clerk-Manchester

In this role, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who helps create an organized, welcoming environment by tackling everything from daily cleaning tasks to light maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and workspaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility

Light Maintenance Duties:

• Perform minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, minor patching/painting)
• Assist with basic plumbing fixes (e.g., unclogging drains)
• Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks
• Report on maintenance issues
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and exterior upkeep
• Help with basic equipment or furniture setup/moves

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor repair work
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and manner
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
