As our Facilities Coordinator, you will handle the management of the IOE Building, which includes facilities and equipment coordination and support, space management, safety support, and incident responses. You will serve as the Department's Liaison with the College's Facilities Management Office and other facilities groups as necessary.
The Facilities Coordinator will report to the Department Administrator and may supervise student facilities assistants.

The Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) at the University of Michigan College of Engineering is at the forefront of research in energy, healthcare, supply-chain logistics, and transportation. Our researchers improve patient access to healthcare systems, predict the impact of power outages from hurricanes, improve accessibility to public transportation for wheelchair/scooter riders, design sustainable energy systems of the future, and much more.
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. This position is classified as hybrid, working on campus for a minimum of four days a week.
