Facilities Engineer

JOB TITLE

Facilities Engineer | MAF Global Solutions | Facilities Management

ROLE SUMMARY

Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the facility's infrastructure and operations to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. This includes managing a team of technicians, developing, and implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting complex facility issues, and managing facility projects. The engineer will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

ROLE PROFILE

• Manages and maintains critical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Implements energy conservation strategies, monitors consumption, and identifies optimization opportunities to reduce costs.
• Develops and executes a comprehensive PM program to extend equipment lifespan and minimize unexpected downtime.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex facility issues, including equipment failures and system malfunctions.
• Ensures full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as environmental and safety regulations.
• Leads and mentors a third-party team, delegating tasks and overseeing facility improvement projects from start to finish.
• Oversees all vendor contracts, manages the facility budget, and prepares detailed reports on operational performance.
• Assesses facility risks, promotes sustainable building practices, and identifies long-term strategies for continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering University graduate – Electromechanical specialized
• Multi-national corporate experience is a must.
• 4-5 years of work experience, of which 1-2 years in facility management.
• Excellent communication skills is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and other building infrastructure components
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting BMS to optimize energy efficiency and building performance.
