Facilities Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Maintenance Tech to help keep our buildings and grounds in excellent condition. This is a year-round position with responsibilities that change seasonally, offering variety in your day-to-day work. Facilities Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:

• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and maintaining outdoor grounds
• Handle seasonal snow removal, including shoveling walkways, spreading salt, and operating snow blowers or other equipment
• Carry out janitorial duties inside the facility, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash
• Assist with general facility upkeep such as minor repairs, painting, and other basic maintenance needs
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas that require attention and report any issues to management
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are safe and ready for use
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Facilities Maintenance Tech Qualifications:

• Prior experience in facility maintenance, landscaping, custodial work, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, shoveling, and extended periods of standing/walking
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs
• Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred
