Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Purpose

Manages and maintains all plant facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational working environment. Plans, executes, and monitors preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of building infrastructure, utilities, and auxiliary systems. Supports projects to improve facilities’ reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.

Job Accountabilities

Facilities Maintenance

Develops and implements preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all plant facilities, utilities such as (HVAC (CHILLERS, VRV UNITS, SPLIT UNIT, EXHAUST SYSTEM), (FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM) ,(AIR COMPRESSOR &NITROGEN GENERATOUR) , (WATER TRETMENT SYSTEM) and infrastructure. Monitors execution of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards, safety regulations, and budget requirements.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

Provides technical support for diagnosing complex facility issues and equipment failures. Defines and implements corrective actions to resolve facility problems effectively.

Safety & Compliance

Ensures all maintenance activities comply with EHS regulations, corporate safety standards, and legal requirements. Conducts inspections to verify that facilities are safe, organized, and well-maintained.

Project Implementation & Improvement

Leads facility improvement projects aligned with plant objectives, budget, and technical requirements. Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize maintenance costs.

Documentation & Records Management

Maintains accurate technical documentation, records, and manuals for all facilities-related equipment and systems. Updates maintenance checklists and procedures as needed.

Spare Parts & Resource Management

Monitors spare parts usage and ensures timely procurement and availability of critical materials for facilities maintenance. Optimizes resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Prepares facilities maintenance KPIs and implements continuous improvement initiatives for processes, procedures, and systems.

Team Support & Development

Provides guidance and technical support to facilities maintenance team members. Participates in training and development activities to enhance team knowledge and capabilities.

Compliance & Corporate Standards

Ensures compliance with corporate values, code of conduct, quality systems, and non-disclosure agreements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 3 years of experience
  • 10th of Ramadan residence is a must.
