Facilities Management In-charge

Position Summary:

The Building In-Charge will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and safety of the company’s building(s). The role requires strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, expertise in fire-fighting systems, and the ability to manage facility operations, compliance, vendors, and staff efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Building Maintenance & Operations

• Oversee daily operations of building facilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure civil, mechanical, and electrical systems are functioning effectively.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

2. Civil Engineering Oversight

• Review, monitor, and supervise civil works including repairs, renovations, and construction.
• Ensure structural integrity and timely rectification of building issues (leakages, cracks, dampness, etc.).
• Provide technical guidance on cost-effective maintenance and material usage.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain records of maintenance logs, inspection reports, and government approvals.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and municipal regulations.
• Coordinate for permits, licenses, and NOCs related to building safety.

4. Vendor & Staff Management

• Supervise technical staff, security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Manage vendor contracts for facility services and ensure performance as per SLAs.
• Monitor cost control and efficient resource utilization.

5. Occupant Relations

• Address tenant/occupant concerns related to building services promptly.
• Communicate building policies, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:
